The U.S. Army Research Laboratory is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services for the filtration of undesirable contaminants in the water systems utilized for personal and laboratory purposes on Spesutie Island, ARL, APG, MD and Graces Quarters, 9 Lace Road, Middle River, ARL, MD. The contract will include quarterly water treatment maintenance service visits for a period of one year, with options for up to four additional years. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the water treatment systems, replacing filters and salt as needed, and ensuring that the water quality meets drinking water standards set by the EPA. • The contract will require the contractor to provide maintenance services for 16 water treatment systems. • The contractor will need to replace filters and salt as needed, and perform routine quarterly maintenance. • The water quality must meet drinking water standards set by the EPA. • The contractor will need to provide documentation of the maintenance services performed. • The contract will be awarded to a small business, with a size standard of $19 million.
