The City of Phoenix is seeking bids from qualified suppliers to establish a citywide contract for the supply of various metals. This contract will support multiple city departments and ensure a consistent and reliable supply of metals for various projects and maintenance needs. The contractor shall provide various metals on an as-needed basis, in accordance with the provisions and specifications contained in the solicitation. Some of the key objectives of this contract include ensuring a steady and reliable supply of various metals, achieving cost savings through bulk purchasing, maintaining high-quality standards for all supplied metals, and fostering a competitive and transparent bidding process. • The contractor shall provide customer service to assist the City of Phoenix with account issues, including return policies, after-hours service, post-sales support, out-of-stock items, and order tracking, and resolution of customer disputes within twenty-four hours of receipt of an email, phone call, or voicemail communication. • The contractor shall provide a contract representative who shall be the main point of contact for the City of Phoenix and who shall be knowledgeable about all aspects of the contract. • The contractor shall designate an alternate contact when the contract representative is unavailable. • The contractor shall provide all customer service at no cost to the City. • The contractor shall meet all related regulatory and safety standards. • The contractor shall adhere to all federal, state, county, and city rules, regulations, and standards.
