Description
The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive automotive collision repair services for its vehicle fleet, including emergency, police, and specialty vehicles. The contract will run for three years with possible extensions, and the vendor must meet strict turnaround times, use OEM parts (or obtain approval for aftermarket), maintain warranties, and submit detailed status updates and documentation. HUB subcontracting participation is mandatory, and all submissions must be electronic by the specified deadline.
• Scope: Repair and collision services for all UTMB fleet vehicles; emergency vehicles receive priority; routine repairs completed within 10 business days.
• Requirements: Texas licensing & insurance, computerized estimating system, vehicle lift, OEM parts usage, warranties, technician training, HUB Subcontracting Plan, 2%/10 Net 30 payment terms.
