SMC Parks DII: Hazard Tree Mitigations

The San Mateo County Department of Parks is seeking quotes for Hazardous Tree Mitigation services located at multiple parks within the county. The project includes twelve hazard tree mitigations, ten removals, and two prunings. The contractor must be licensed, insured, and experienced with removal of large trees and portions of trees. The contractor must also have at minimum one worker on staff who holds their International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) arborist certification. Some of the key tasks and deliverables include: • Safe removal of ten hazard trees and pruning of two trees • Processing of woody debris generated from hazard tree mitigation activities • Reporting any sensitive environmental resources that may be significantly impacted by work activities • Coordinating with Parks staff to schedule mitigation work at least seven days in advance The proposal should include a letter of introduction and executive summary, project approach, proposed schedule, performance measures, team qualifications, and pricing proposal.
