Description
The U.S. Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar requires elevator maintenance services for its building. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the elevators in a safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition. The services include routine maintenance, emergency response, and troubleshooting. The contractor must have experience in elevator maintenance and have the necessary equipment and personnel to perform the tasks. The contract will be for a base period of one year with two optional periods of performance.
• The contractor will provide a trained mechanic to inspect and service each elevator at least once per month.
• The contractor will provide 24-hour, 7-day-a-week emergency response service.
• The contractor will troubleshoot failures in equipment, lighting, or receptacle electrical circuits.
• The contractor will maintain emergency light units in operable condition.
• The contractor will provide recommendations for system upgrades or modernization when required.
