R1883 - Library Automation

The New York City Department of Education, on behalf of the Department of Library Services, seeks a qualified vendor to design, implement, and support a comprehensive library automation solution across the city’s public school system. The scope includes cloud configuration and ongoing updates, full technical support and maintenance, functional and technical training for district and local staff, comprehensive documentation, and, if applicable, conversion and rollout of an Integrated Library System (ILS). The contractor must deliver end‑to‑end services that modernize library operations, improve user access, and ensure sustainable technical stewardship. • Cloud‑based platform setup, configuration, and regular updates. • Ongoing technical support, help‑desk services, and system maintenance. • Training programs for district‑level administrators and school‑level staff (both functional and technical). • Detailed documentation, online resources, and phone support. • ILS conversion planning and execution (if required), including data migration and rollout.
