NORTH GLYNN RECREATION SIDEWALK PROJECT

The North Glynn Recreation Sidewalk Project involves the installation of approximately 685 linear feet of new 5' concrete sidewalk at the North Glynn Recreational Park. The work includes sidewalk construction, demo, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, backfilling, grassing, striping, signage, and erosion control. The project requires the contractor to provide all skill, labor, material, and equipment necessary for the installation of the sidewalk and furnishings. The contractor must also comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to the work. Key features of the project include: • Installation of approximately 685 linear feet of new 5' concrete sidewalk • Sidewalk construction, demo, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, backfilling, grassing, striping, signage, and erosion control • Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations • Provision of all skill, labor, material, and equipment necessary for the installation of the sidewalk and furnishings • Coordination with the Glynn County IT Department for the relocation of the existing license plate reader • Installation of ADA ramps and detectable warning mats • Storm sewer construction, including the use of GDOT class III pipe and filter fabric • Painting of traffic stripes and installation of rapid flashing pedestrian beacons
