Laboratory Equipment Repair and Maintenance Contract Agreement

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking bids for a Laboratory Equipment Repair and Maintenance Contract Agreement. The contract will cover the repair and maintenance of equipment used for sterilization of infectious waste and specimens from high-volume mycobacteria growth, detection, and susceptibility testing for the DSHS South Texas Laboratory. The contract is expected to start on September 01, 2026. • The contract will be for an initial term with options for renewal or extension. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the repair and maintenance services. • The contractor will be required to have experience in providing similar services and to have the necessary qualifications and certifications. • The evaluation criteria will include the bidder's experience, qualifications, and price. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder that offers the best value to the state.
