Description
The County of Maui is seeking bids for the furnishing of Asphalt Concrete, Emulsified Asphalt for the Department of Public Works, Highways Division. The contract will be a multiple award/indefinite quantity contract, with prices valid from the Notice to Proceed through December 31, 2026. The successful bidder must produce a Tax Clearance Certificate, DLIR Certificate of Compliance, and Certificate of Good Standing from the DCCA.
• The bidder must comply with the newest procurement code, HRS, Chapter 103-D, and any rules and regulations issued with respect to Chapter 103D.
• The bidder must submit a bid bond and performance bond, but in this case, they are not required.
• The bidder must coordinate with the County of Maui to ensure that providing contracted materials shall be accomplished in a timely manner.
• The Department of Public Works will coordinate with the vendor on the quantity of material and time of pickup or delivery.
• The contractor shall honor cancellation of orders being made up until eight (8) hours from pickup time, and the County shall place orders with at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice.
