Notice of Proposed Contract Action: HVF Precious Metals

The Space Rapid Capabilities Office (SpRCO) intends to issue a firm-fixed-price, sole-source purchase order to HVF Precious Metals for the disposal of sensitive Information Technology (IT) equipment. The basis for this sole-source determination is that HVF Precious Metals is the only responsible source capable of meeting the government's requirements, as they operate the nearest AFOSI-approved facility to Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. • The contract will be for the disposal of sensitive IT equipment. • The facility used for disposal must be approved by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). • The proximity of the facility to Kirtland Air Force Base, NM is critical for enabling government personnel to escort and witness the entire destruction process. • Interested sources who believe they can meet the full requirements may submit a capability statement to the Points of Contact listed above.
