Description
The Pease Development Authority is soliciting qualified vendors to supply and deliver ready‑mix concrete on an as‑needed basis for construction and airfield pavement projects at the former Pease Air Force Base/Skyhaven Airport. Three mix designs are required—3000 psi footings, 4500 psi structural slabs, and 6000 psi heavy‑duty pavement—each meeting ASTM and FAA specifications, with optional admixtures and delivery‑related services priced separately. The contract is for approximately 2,000 CY of concrete over a one‑year term, with a possible one‑year extension. The award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
• Mix specifications: 3000 psi footings (3000 psi @ 28 days, w/c ≤ 0.55), 4500 psi slabs (4500 psi @ 28 days, w/c ≤ 0.45, freeze‑thaw), 6000 psi pavement (6000 psi @ 28 days, w/c ≤ 0.40, FAA P‑501).
• Delivery requirement: discharge within 90 minutes of batching, continuous truck capacity, fresh‑concrete testing at job‑site.
• Optional items: fiber reinforcement, retarders, accelerators, corrosion inhibitors, and various delivery/service fees (each with a 7 % annual escalation).
• Submission: sealed paper bid (original + 3 copies) by April 9 2026 2:00 PM to the PDA procurement address; vendor inquiry deadline April 1 2026 4:00 PM.
