NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The Department of Commerce intends to award a sole source contract to The Financial Times Limited for a firm-fixed-price contract to provide access to the fDi Markets database. The database provides a comprehensive global investment intelligence platform, allowing SelectUSA to research foreign-owned companies, track investment trends, and analyze data. The contract will have a base period with three one-year option periods. The Government believes that The Financial Times Limited is the only source capable of providing the required proprietary investment intelligence within a single integrated platform. Some key features of the fDi Markets database include: • Tracking announced greenfield investment projects globally • Tracking USD value of investments • Tracking job creation data associated with investment projects • Generating editable reports and exportable datasets • Producing side-by-side comparisons of U.S. and international locations • Identifying early-warning investment signals indicating potential investment decisions
