Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $5,000,000

Based on typical municipal traffic‑signal upgrade projects of this size (≈1,500 backplates and dozens of controllers), a reasonable contract value in California ranges from $2 million to $5 million. The estimate assumes unit prices of $1,300‑$2,000 for each backplate, $5,000‑$8,000 per controller, plus labor, bonding, and overhead.
