Description
The US Air Force Academy (USAFA) Chemistry Department is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing a Simultaneous Dynamic Scanning Calorimeter/Thermogravimetric Analysis (SDT) instrument with installation and training. The instrument must meet specific technical specifications, including the ability to simultaneously collect Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) data. Interested vendors are requested to provide a brief capability statement containing company information, business size, product information, and authorized distributor status.
• The instrument must be capable of simultaneously collecting DSC and TGA data.
• The instrument must meet or exceed the attached minimum technical specifications.
• The instrument must be a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) instrument.
• The instrument must include an autosampler that can be configured to accommodate at least 30 samples.
• The instrument must have a reactive gas inlet that allows for reactive gases to be introduced to the sample without contamination of the balance.
