The California Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive Legionella water‑testing program for the Veterans Home in Chula Vista. The contractor will design and maintain a control program, conduct semi‑annual sampling, respond to emergency testing requests, and perform remediation when positive results are found. The contract is a fixed‑price three‑year agreement with mandatory participation in a pre‑bid walkthrough.
• Provide semi‑annual Legionella sampling (11 sites per round, two rounds per year) and report results.
• Deliver a written remediation plan and execute remediation services for any positive detections, with a 4‑hour response window for emergencies.
