Description
The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) is seeking a supplier to provide sewage pump maintenance and repair services for its Southern Region facilities. The supplier will be responsible for providing full-service maintenance, repair, parts, installation, rental, emergency services, and other related tasks. The supplier must follow the rules and regulations of the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examination Board and ensure that all technicians are licensed and certified. The supplier must also comply with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and undergo background checks.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Maintaining and repairing sewage pumps and related equipment
• Providing emergency services and responding to work requests within 24 hours
• Following the rules and regulations of the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examination Board
• Complying with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)
• Undergoing background checks and providing individual proof of license and/or certifications for each technician
