Advanced Technology Demonstrator Radar Back End Improvements and Engineering Test Support

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking continued technical and engineering support for on-going improvements and addressing obsolescence within the Advanced Technology Demonstrator (ATD) radar as part of its Phased Array Radar (PAR) research program. The PAR research program plays a critical role in supporting NOAA's mission to enhance the quality, coverage, and accuracy of severe weather warning systems. The requirement includes research, design, and implementation of system improvements, continued system development, and operational support and sustainment of the ATD system. • The services required under this acquisition are anticipated to be performed at the NSSL site located in Norman, Oklahoma. • The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is May 2026 – May 2031, with five, one-year ordering periods. • The intended source for this requirement is General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), use of noncompetitive procedures implemented by FAR 6.103-1.
