AFRL/RQQ Epilog Fusion CNC CO2 Laser or Equal

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is seeking information from potential vendors for the purchase of an Epilog Fusion CNC CO2 Laser or equal. The laser will be used to support the RQQ laboratory's power and thermal research mission by enabling the rapid fabrication of custom components from dense materials. The vendor shall provide a laser that meets the minimum requirements specified in the Minimum Requirements Document, including a minimum of 80W of power, a minimum of 24”x36” cut area, and the ability to be de-rated to Class I or Class II laser through use of interlocks. • The laser must be capable of fully offline, air-gapped operation without internet connectivity. • The laser must have support services available with a response time to be determined. • The laser must be sourced from a fully American-owned and operated company to ensure a secure domestic supply chain. • The laser must integrate with reputable industry-standard drawing programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, LightBurn, or CorrelDRAW.
