RFP-Ocean Tech Hub Governance, Sustainability, and Strategic Advisory Services

The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide expert consulting services to develop the operational and governance structure, long-term sustainability business model, market analysis, and data architecture framework for the Ocean Tech Hub. The selected firm will support the Ocean Tech Hub in establishing a sustainable governance model, designing and implementing a sustainable business model, updating the comprehensive market analysis, and designing an efficient data architecture framework. The proposal should include a description of the proposed approach and work plan, qualifications of the proposer, and a listing of the staff to be assigned to the engagement. • The Ocean Tech Hub is a bi-state initiative anchored in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts that drives innovation in and commercialization of ocean and undersea technologies. • The selected firm will provide consultation services across several key areas critical to the Ocean Tech Hub's long-term success. • The contract is expected to begin upon the date of contract approval and end by August 2026. • The total budget for this contract is $82,000. • The proposer should provide a proposed fee structure for providing services necessary to complete the proposed scope items by task. • The proposer should include a total, maximum price to accomplish the tasks incorporated in the proposal along with an estimate regarding the duration and number of hours to complete each task.
