Senior Grant Program (Contractor, Residential Remodelers, -General Building (B)

The Los Angeles County Development Authority is seeking quotes for the Senior Grant Program Construction Rehabilitation Services. The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the rehabilitation of a property located at 948 Morada Place, Altadena, CA 91001. The contractor will be required to perform all work in accordance with the "Appendix B - Statement of Work." The project has a completion period of 30 calendar days from the date noted in the Notice to Proceed, and a non-completion penalty of $500.00 per day if the required work is not performed in accordance with the terms of the agreement. • The contractor must have a Class "B" General Building Contractor license and/or "B-2" Residential Remodeling Contractor license issued by the Contractors State License Board, California Department of Consumer Affairs. • The contractor must have EPA "Lead-Safe" Certification issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. • The contractor must have insurance coverage, including general liability insurance, workers' compensation insurance, automobile insurance, crime insurance, and pollution liability insurance. • The contractor must comply with various regulations, including child support compliance, equal employment opportunity, and zero tolerance human trafficking policy.
