Request for Proposals (RFP) for Moonlight Amphitheatre Concession Services

The City of Vista is seeking a vendor to provide concession services at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. The vendor will be responsible for operating the concession stands, providing food and beverages, and managing the concession operations. The contract will be for up to five years, and the vendor must be able to start operations by April 29, 2026. The city is looking for a vendor that can provide a variety of menu items, including food and beverages, and that can handle the concession operations for the summer season musicals, Presents events, Independence Day celebration, and other events. The vendor must also be able to provide catering services for special events. • The concession stands will be located in the Moonlight Amphitheatre patio area and will include a 38’6” x 13’9” kitchen space, a commercial ice maker, a commercial 3-bay sink and attached dishwasher unit, and other equipment. • The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor and equipment necessary to operate the concession stands. • The vendor must have a City of Vista Business License prior to the award of the contract. • The vendor must provide a proposal that includes a discussion of their overall approach to the concession operations, a summary of key personnel and qualifications, an organization chart, a rate schedule, and documentation of the firm's and any sub-consultant's qualifications.
