Sources Sought Notice - O&M with Incidental Repair and Minor Construction, IDIQ MATOC in Support of DHA, East of the Mississippi Region

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, is seeking information on the availability of qualified contractors to perform Operation & Maintenance (O&M) with incidental repair and minor construction services in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), East of the Mississippi Region. The services include, but are not limited to, general and specialized Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical lighting systems, fire detection and suppression systems, plumbing supply, medical gas supply, and facility interior and exterior finishes. The contractor will be required to minimize interference with the daily operation of the facilities and implement infection control processes. Key points to consider: • The contract will be for a five-year ordering period. • The anticipated dollar value for this five-year MATOC is $450,000,000.00. • The contractor must have extensive knowledge of the functional operation of medical facilities, including equipment, facility support systems, and building structures. • The contractor must be willing to take on the risk of performing work that may impact patient health and safety. • The contractor must comply with Joint Commission requirements and other applicable requirements.
