Catholic Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE)

The Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC) – Regional Contracting Office (RCO) is conducting market research to identify potential sources that are interested in and capable of providing support services for the Catholic Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) position. The CRE will provide religious education activities for Roman Catholic personnel aboard Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni (MCASI). The contractor will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive plan for Roman Catholic Religious Education at MCASI, including coordinating educational activities, recruiting and training volunteers, and maintaining records. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed-price contract with a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. • The contractor will provide religious support services as delineated in the performance work statement. • The contractor will coordinate and administer Catholic Religious Education training. • The contractor will recruit, organize, and register adult volunteers as catechists. • The contractor will maintain a volunteer roster and ensure that all volunteers are subject to completion of background checks. • The contractor will provide monthly and annual reports to the Command Chaplain.
