Description
The City of Atlanta is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) revenue billing and revenue cycle management services. The contractor will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and compliant billing and revenue cycle management services that enhance claims processing efficiency, reduce denials, maximize revenue recovery, and improve financial reporting and operational visibility for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department's (AFRD) EMS transport program.
Some key features of the job include:
• Processing claims within 2 business days of receipt of electronic patient care reports (ePCRs)
• Providing weekly and monthly reports on revenue, payments, and outstanding accounts
• Offering customer service and support for patients and insurance providers
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
• Providing a secure online portal for patients to review their billing information and make payments
• Offering regular training and support for AFRD staff on billing and compliance issues
