Description
Hays County is soliciting bids to remove existing 6” and replace with 4” of Type B Hot Mix and 2” Type D Hot Mix Overlay on Brandons Way, located in the Shadow Creek Subdivision. The project includes milling, paving, and post-paving cleanup. The contractor will be responsible for providing QA/QC, utility locates, and damages/repairs to utilities. The project must be completed by September 25, 2026.
• The project requires a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount and a performance bond of 100% of the contract price.
• The contractor must have adequate financial resources, a satisfactory record of performance, and proper equipment to fulfill the terms and conditions of the contract.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance for Workers’ Compensation, Auto Liability, and General Liability before any work may begin.
