Predesign Services for PW Facility

The Hennepin County is seeking a qualified firm to provide predesign services for the construction of a new Fleet Services facility at the Medina Public Works facility. The scope of work includes addressing major space and operational deficiencies, modernizing and expanding the Public Works Fleet Services operation, and repurposing existing Fleet Services mechanic spaces for additional vehicle warm storage and other needs. The selected consultant will be expected to have subject matter expertise in Public Works and Fleet Services as well as Public Works design and facility asset preservation. • The RFP is for predesign services to support the County's Capital Improvement Program in 2026. • The project aims to provide more detailed plans and cost estimates for funding requests. • The selected consultant will need to consider the programmatic changes and their effects on facility expansion size and location. • The consultant should have experience in Public Works and Fleet Services design and facility asset preservation.
