Description
Ferris State University is seeking a qualified Professional Service Organization to provide full‑service pre‑construction and construction management for the relocation of departments from Birkam Health Center and Johnson Hall to multiple campus buildings. The scope includes program validation, design‑review, cost estimating, scheduling, value engineering, bid packaging, subcontractor coordination, on‑site construction oversight, safety and quality control, and close‑out documentation. The effort covers several building renovations (FLITE, Arts & Sciences Commons, NEC, Swan, Granger) with an overall construction budget of $9‑14 million and a total project budget of $12‑17 million. The contract will be awarded in early December 2026, with construction starting May 2027 and substantial completion for the first phase by August 2027; later phases extend into 2028. Attendance at a mandatory pre‑bid conference on Oct 27, 2026 is required.
