Description
The City of Fall River is seeking a qualified General Contractor for restoration repairs to the Historic Stone Facade of the Fall River Public Library. The project includes the restoration of the existing historic stone facade improvements, repair, renovation, and installation of stonework, woodwork, limited metal work, and finish materials. The project alternate calls for repair and replacement of exterior electrical light fixtures and post. The contractor must have DCAMM certification for Historic Building Restoration, and all bid submissions must include a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and update statement. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply.
• The project location is the Fall River Public Library, 94 N. Main Street, Fall River, MA 02722.
• The expected file sub-bid categories are: Masonry, Painting, Lath and Plastering.
• Sealed bids clearly marked "Fall River Public Library - Historic Stone Facade Improvements" will be received until 2 pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
• An on-site pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 am, Monday, November 10, 2025.
