CONSTRUCTION MGMT AT RISK SVCS - ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS

The Town of Wethersfield is seeking a Construction Manager to provide program evaluation, planning, and pre-construction services for the construction of a new elementary school and renovations to existing schools. The Construction Manager will be responsible for cost estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and project close-out. The project will be conducted in accordance with Connecticut state requirements. • The Construction Manager will work with the Architect and Owner's Representative to provide pre-construction services. • The Construction Manager will be responsible for trade contract bidding and negotiation. • The project involves the construction of a new Highcrest Elementary School and renovations to Samuel Webb Elementary School and Charles Wright Elementary School. • The Construction Manager will be required to comply with the Department of Administrative Services Office of Grants Administration requirements. • The project is expected to be completed in accordance with the requirements of Conn. Gen. Stat. § 10-287(b)(3).
