Description
The DeKalb County Board of Education is seeking a qualified construction management firm to act as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the complete modernization of Stoneview Elementary School in Lithonia, GA. The CMAR will provide pre‑construction services (cost validation, value engineering, scheduling) and then manage construction under a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) not to exceed the $30 M Stated Cost Limitation. The project includes new security vestibule, media center, classrooms, HVAC, roof, electrical, kitchen, fire‑sprinkler, site work, parking, playground, and related infrastructure upgrades. A mandatory virtual pre‑submission conference (Oct 15) and mandatory site visit (Oct 16) are required. Submissions are due Nov 5, 2026. The anticipated construction period runs from March 1 2027 (notice to proceed) to June 29 2029 (substantial completion).
