On-Call Professional Landscape Design and Inspection Services

The City of Chico is seeking a consultant to provide on-call professional landscape design and inspection services for various capital improvement projects. The selected consultant will provide services including landscape and irrigation design, plan review, construction observation, and plant establishment monitoring. The contract will be for a period of three years with the option for two one-year extensions. The total contract amount will not exceed $250,000. • The consultant will provide services for projects such as streetscape and roadway corridor landscaping, roundabout and median enhancements, park and open-space restoration, and public facility frontage and aesthetic plantings. • The consultant will be required to have experience in preparing landscape and irrigation plans, cost estimates, and specifications for streetscapes, roundabouts, parks, and open spaces. • The consultant will be required to have a minimum of five years of experience in performing similar landscape architecture, irrigation design, and landscape inspection services in the State of California. • The consultant will be required to employ at least one California-licensed Landscape Architect (PLA) in responsible charge of all design services.
