This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to perform the complete demolition of the former Ambassador Hotel in downtown Salina and to manage all resulting debris in compliance with Kansas Department of Health & Environment (KDHE) requirements. The work includes controlled demolition, on‑site stockpiling of debris away from the landfill working face, haul‑out of material to the nearby landfill, and responsibility for traffic control, wind‑blown litter containment, and any inclement‑weather roadway repairs. Contractors must be able to operate within strict weekday hour windows and may exceed eight truck loads per day if they provide the necessary equipment and personnel.
