Student Recreation Field Turf Replacement

The University is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish the existing artificial‑turf system at the Student Recreation Field on the Evansdale Campus and install a new Fieldturf Classic 2.5 (or equivalent) system, including all labor, equipment, materials, and a five‑year maintenance plan. The project must be completed in a single construction window, with substantial completion by August 5 2026 and final completion by August 12 2026. • Remove existing 2‑in. Sportgrass turf, infill, and perimeter board, re‑grade and prepare the sub‑base. • Supply and install new Fieldturf Classic 2.5 (or equivalent) with sand‑rubber infill, provide field striping for soccer/flag‑football, and install a new treated‑lumber perimeter board. • Provide a tow‑behind grooming machine, conduct Gmax testing, erect a six‑foot chain‑link fence, and deliver a five‑year maintenance pricing schedule. • All work must be performed within the May‑August 2026 window, with no cost for weekend or after‑hours work, and must comply with WVU EH&S safety program and Supplier Code of Conduct.
