Tom Nevers Solid Waste Removal

The Town of Nantucket is seeking a qualified vendor to perform solid waste removal services at Tom Nevers Field. The scope of work includes removal of surface and subsurface solid waste debris, utility disconnection, backfilling, and site restoration. The vendor must have at least five years of experience in solid waste removal and site restoration, and must provide proof of insurance and references. The contract will be awarded to the lowest eligible and responsible bidder who meets the qualifying factors and offers the lowest total base bid price. • The contract includes all costs associated with the items needed to complete the work as required. • The vendor must comply with Massachusetts General Laws and regulations, including prevailing wage rates and OSHA requirements. • The vendor must provide a bid deposit of 5% of the base bid and furnish a payment bond and performance bond. • The vendor must submit a completed W-9 form and provide proof of insurance.
