Description
The County is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive pedestrian‑improvement work on a total of approximately 1.393 miles of roadway. The scope includes clearing and grubbing, grading, installation of curb and gutter, sidewalk construction, concrete flat work, limited asphalt paving, storm‑drain pipe installation, signing, striping, and related drainage components. All bids must be sealed, accompanied by a 5 % bid bond and 100 % performance and payment bonds, each rated A‑8 or higher. Plans are available for purchase at $50 per set. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the County retaining the right to split or waive terms.
• 4,690 LF of curb & gutter, 5,856 SY of concrete flat work, 100 LF of storm‑drain pipe, and 50 TN of asphalt.
• Mandatory bid bond (5 % of bid) and performance/payment bonds (100 % of bid) with A‑8 rating.
