Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from vendors capable of providing grounds maintenance services, including snow and ice removal, at the West Haven VA Medical Center in Connecticut. The contract will have a base year and four option years. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining improved and semi-improved grounds, including mowing, edging, trimming, and leaf removal. The vendor will also be responsible for snow removal, ice control, and storm drain maintenance. The VA is looking for vendors with experience in providing similar services and who can meet the requirements outlined in the Sources Sought notice. Key considerations include:
• Ability to provide 24/7 response to snow and ice events
• Experience with snow removal and ice control
• Ability to maintain improved and semi-improved grounds
• Experience with storm drain maintenance
