LCAC Skirts

The US Navy is seeking to award a contract for the manufacturing and delivery of 3 SSC Skirt Systems and 5 spares for Government use. The skirt systems will be manufactured in accordance with a Government-furnished engineering drawing package and must meet specific material and fabrication requirements outlined in two LCAC Project Peculiar Documents (PPDs). The competition is limited to two small business concerns, Avon Engineered Fabrications LLC and SMR Acquisition LLC, which have previously been certified by NAVSEA as having the proper materials and processes. Key aspects of the job include: • Manufacturing and delivery of SSC Skirt Systems • Compliance with Government-furnished engineering drawing package • Adherence to LCAC Project Peculiar Documents (PPDs) for material and fabrication requirements • Limited competition to two small business concerns • Unique material and fabrication requirements for the skirt systems
