Description
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the provision of inspections and repairs of above ground pre-stressed concrete tanks on an annual contract for the Department of Water Resources. The contract will include individual tank inspection, non-destructive testing, maintenance, and repair. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the tank inspection, non-destructive testing, maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation work authorized under this contract. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing a project manager and superintendent with experience in pre-stressed tank repair
• Ensuring personnel are properly trained in confined space entry and fall protection
• Complying with all applicable OSHA regulations and Gwinnett County safety policies
• Maintaining records of compliance with the Illegal Immigration Reform Enhancements for 2013
• Cooperating with other service providers and subcontractors
• Indemnifying the County against all claims, damages, and expenses arising from the performance of the work
• Participating in the federal work authorization program and verifying the work eligibility of all employees
