Description
The VA’s Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center requires ongoing preventative maintenance for its deionized (DI) water system. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm‑fixed‑price, sole‑source contract to Evoqua Water Technologies for a comprehensive service package that includes labor, OEM parts, regular testing (conductivity, SDI), pump inspections, flow/pressure adjustments, pre‑filter replacement, loop cleaning, and consumable replacement (filters, UV lamps, test strips, sanitizer). The contract value is estimated at $16.5 million and will become effective around 7 October 2026.
