Description
The U.S. Forest Service, Gila National Forest, requires the procurement of one (1) tow-behind tire road packer for use in aggregate road maintenance operations on National Forest System roads. The equipment shall provide kneading compaction using multiple tires mounted on independent walking beams, allowing the compactor to follow uneven road surfaces typical of forest road systems. The equipment shall be new, unused, and of current production.

The contract will be awarded to the offeror representing the best value to the Government, based on the lowest price technically acceptable criteria.
