Description
This solicitation seeks pre‑qualified contractors to perform a large‑scale sewer reconstruction and water‑main relay project along South Conestoga Street, extending from Ludlow Street to Market Street in Philadelphia. The work includes full excavation, shoring, installation of reinforced‑concrete (RCP) sewer pipes (18 in.), ductile‑iron water mains (4‑12 in.), construction of various manholes and vent structures, water‑service connections, traffic‑control and tree‑protection measures, ADA‑compliant curb‑ramp construction, and related site‑cleanup and documentation. Successful firms will be placed on the City’s Qualified Seller List and invited to submit a priced bid for the $5 M+ contract.
• Excavation, sheet‑and‑shoring, and back‑fill for 18‑in. RCP sewer and 4‑12 in. DI water mains.
• Installation of manholes, vent caps, inlets, grates, fire‑hydrant removal/replacement, and water‑service connections (copper and DI).
• Traffic management, tree‑root protection, ADA‑ramp construction, green‑storm‑water‑infrastructure as‑built surveys, and required safety documentation.
• Mandatory pre‑qualification questionnaire and consent/authorization form submitted via the PHLContracts portal by 22 Oct 2026; final quote due 10 Nov 2026.
