Description
The Naval Station Norfolk is seeking a contractor to replace the flooring material in two offices and warehouse areas at 9170 2nd St, Norfolk, VA 23511. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and management to complete the task. The work includes removing existing carpet and associated adhesive, preparing the surface for proper adhesion, applying epoxy base coat, polymer flake, and topcoat, and installing vinyl baseboards. The contractor must also ensure that surrounding surfaces are protected from damage and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* The contractor must submit a detailed schedule of work and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with standard industry practices and applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
* The contractor must also provide a list of all personnel who will be working on site, Activity Hazard Analysis, schedule of work, and any outage paperwork at the pre-performance meeting.
* The work must be completed within 120 days.
* A pre-proposal site meeting will be held on May 1, 2026, at 1000 EST.
