Description
The Chatham Area Transit Authority is seeking a vendor to provide state-local legislative advocacy services. The selected vendor will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on current legislation, tracking bills, and providing legislative advocacy. The vendor will also be required to establish an active presence in Washington DC, Atlanta, or regionally on behalf of the authority. The contract will be for a period of three years with two one-year extension options. The vendor will be evaluated based on their professional qualifications, past performance, and capacity to accomplish the work.
• Monitoring and reporting on current legislation
• Tracking bills and providing legislative advocacy
• Establishing an active presence in Washington DC, Atlanta, or regionally
• Providing weekly and monthly updates on activities and actions
• Coordinating meetings with legislative and executive branch leaders
• Identifying and attending committee meetings and task force meetings
• Providing documentation of lobbying efforts and success
