Description
The California High-Speed Rail Authority is seeking bids for the purchase of Monobloc Concrete Ties for use in the construction of its high-speed rail track. The contract will be for a term of four years, with an estimated not-to-exceed dollar value of $84,000,000 for the first construction section. The successful bidder will be required to manufacture and deliver the materials in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
• The contract will include options to issue additional notices to proceed at a later date.
• The materials must be newly manufactured goods and conform to the technical specifications provided by the Authority.
• All materials supplied must be Buy America and Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) compliant.
• The Authority reserves the right to revise the IFB at any time before the bidding deadline.
