CAPITOL FEDERAL NATATORIUM POOL RTU REPLACEMENT

The Topeka Public Schools is soliciting bids for the replacement of the pool RTU (Roof Top Unit) at the Capitol Federal Natatorium. The project involves the removal of the existing unit and the installation of a new one, along with adjustments to the existing ductwork as necessary. The new unit must meet specific requirements, including the ability to maintain a negative pressure in the space during normal operation, and must be controlled from an end switch on the power open of the exhaust air damper. The project also includes the provision of a remote controller and the testing and balancing of the system by an NEBB certified contractor. • The contractor must attend a pre-bid meeting on June 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM EDT, which will be held at the main entrance of the Capitol Federal Natatorium. • The contractor must submit their bid through Public Purchase at www.publicpurchase.com, or by mail or hand delivery to the Unified School District No. 501, Purchasing Services, 624 SW 24th Street, Topeka, KS 66611. • The bid must include all required forms and bonds, and must be received by June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT. • The contractor must provide a base bid and may also provide alternate bids for additional work. • The contractor must comply with all terms and conditions outlined in the Invitation for Bid document.
