Christman Field Upgrades

The State of Colorado, Colorado State University, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the Christman Field Upgrade project. The project involves reconstruction of the existing asphalt concrete runway, modification of the runway profile, significant grading in the infields adjacent to the runway, reconstruction of access taxiway, construction of a gravel vehicle access road, installation of new electrical infrastructure, and permanent pavement markings. The project will be delivered under a design/bid/build delivery method. The scope of services includes full Construction Contracting Services for the project specified during the process of construction and warranty period to the State. The awarded contractor shall comply with State of Colorado prevailing wage requirements, apprenticeship requirements, and Buy Clean Colorado requirements. • The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, apprenticeship requirements, and Buy Clean Colorado Act requirements. • The project will be delivered under a design/bid/build delivery method. • The scope of services includes full Construction Contracting Services for the project. • The awarded contractor shall comply with State of Colorado prevailing wage requirements, apprenticeship requirements, and Buy Clean Colorado requirements. • The project has an estimated cost of $3,500,000.00. • The bidder must have demonstrated specific contracting experience in projects of similar scope and complexity. • The bidder must have a bonding capability up to $3,500,000.00 for an individual project.
