Description
The City of Richmond, Virginia’s Department of Public Utilities is seeking competitive proposals for on‑call professional engineering services supporting its wastewater utility. The scope includes utility surveying, planning, investigation, engineering and architectural design, permitting, plan‑review assistance, bidding support, construction oversight, operations, and overall engineering support for capital improvement program (CIP) projects and larger operations‑and‑maintenance projects. This is an annual services contract, meaning the selected firm will be called upon as needs arise throughout the year.
• Provides comprehensive engineering, architectural, and consulting support for wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Covers all phases from planning and design through construction oversight and operations.
• Requires a vendor that can respond quickly to on‑call needs and has experience with municipal utility projects.
