5866 - Architectural & Engineering Services for Lincoln Park Pool Modernization

The City of New Rochelle is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and engineering design firms to provide full design services for the modernization of the Lincoln Park Swimming Pool. The modernized pool facility shall include a rehabilitated main pool and kiddie pool, new mechanicals, a water slide, and shade structures including a shaded picnic area. The project is funded in part by a grant from the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) NY SWIMS Grant Program. • The project goals include replacing pool systems to meet current health, safety, and building codes, improving accessibility, enhancing user amenities and functionality, improving water quality, mechanical efficiency, and energy performance, extending the facility's operational lifespan, and creating a visually appealing, community-centric recreational asset. • The scope of work includes evaluation of existing conditions, preparation of design alternatives, cost estimates, construction documents, permitting, and construction-phase support. • The City intends to award a contract to the respondent who presents a proposal that best meets the requirements and represents the most beneficial procurement. • Proposals will be evaluated based on experience and qualifications, technical approach and project understanding, proposed project schedule, proposal completion, and cost proposal.
