The Haines Borough is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to design, bid, and administer construction of a new, energy‑efficient ventilation system for its municipal swimming pool and associated locker‑room/office spaces. The work includes a full suite of professional services: existing conditions assessment, alternatives analysis, detailed mechanical, electrical, and structural design, preparation of 35 %, 65 %, and 95 % design packages, bid‑set development, construction‑phase administration, testing, balancing, and commissioning. The project will be funded by a Rural Housing Technical Assistance Program grant and is expected to proceed after award in mid‑December 2026, with a design and administration timeline of roughly one year.
