Description
The project involves the installation of snow/security fences on elevated structures at Logan International Airport in East Boston, Massachusetts. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards. The estimated contract cost is $21,538,158. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
• The contractor must demonstrate good faith efforts to meet the Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise participation provision.
• The contractor must comply with Affirmative Action requirements and ensure equal opportunity for all businesses.
• The contractor must submit a Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities prior to award of the contract.
• The contractor must pay workers no less than the prevailing wage rates on the schedules listed in Division II, Special Provisions of the Specifications.
